 Hailing from the vibrant heart of New York City, Abby Dormer is a singer-songwriter who offers solace and connection through her soothing, tender harmonies. Her music reverberates with the influence of the iconic female folk musicians of the ‘60s and ‘70s, conveying narratives sculpted by the passage of time and the distinctive light that propels us forward.

Brought up on the coastal edge of New Jersey, Abby’s musical palette was nurtured by an eclectic mix of artists from the Grateful Dead to Paul Simon to Judy Garland. Her musical journey commenced with piano lessons at the age of four, laying the foundation for a lifelong devotion to her craft. Abby later expanded her repertoire, independently mastering the acoustic guitar. Reflective of an old soul, Abby’s music weaves a tapestry of yesteryears, yet firmly establishes roots in the present. She remains inspired by our beautiful natural world, ancient understandings, and folktales and myths we tell ourselves.
